"This recording is dedicated to the memory of Larry MacBride. Larry's love of old-time music recorded years ago was equaled by his faith in musicians playing this music now. Both were a part of his vision for Marimac Recordings. This is the last album Double Decker Stringband and I recorded with him, but he will be with us for all our recording to come."

This album was originally issued by the late Larry MacBride for Marimac Recordings and is now out of print.

The other members of Double Decker Stringband (John Beam and Craig Johnson) perform on tracks 4, 10 and 18. The other members of Dr Kilmer's Medicine Show (Gil Carter, Wes Butts, Marve Reitz, and Henry Stinson) perform on track 21.
